A brief description of the leak detection method of high-efficiency air filters and the experimental process
I. Apparatus required: a dust particle counter.
II. Principle of the experiment: This experiment applies the principle of light scattering.
The counter uses the principle of photomultiplier tubes to accept light reflected from dust particles to determine their size and number and to analyze them scientifically.
III. Requirements of the experiment
1、Environment: the surrounding temperature should be controlled between 18 - 26°C, and the relative humidity between 45 - 65%;
2, the state: need to test in a static environment, the relevant personnel can not exceed 2 people;
3, pressure difference: this needs to be for different cleanliness, the static pressure difference in general in 5Pa, clean area, and the non-clean area between the static pressure difference of 10Pa.
IV. Method of testing
1、We will introduce the instrument before - the counter with water and 75% alcohol wipe disinfection, and then after about 30 minutes of ultraviolet radiation, and then pass into the clean area;
2. Place the counter horizontally on the table and connect the plastic pipe for measurement to the nozzle of the filtration equipment;
3, then turn on the power, and the equipment will start to detect;
4. Afterwards, observe the data displayed, and switch off the power supply in time after the test is completed.
V. Conclusions drawn
Through the above experiments, we can see which filter leaks, are required to plug the leak or replacement, in addition, to repair or replacement of these devices must also be re-tested. Under normal use, it is generally necessary to carry out at least one test per year to see if the performance of the equipment has changed.
