1. Material of filtration: The equipment can effectively intercept the particles in the air without forming too much resistance to the airflow.

2. Efficiency of filtration: The ratio of the amount of dust trapped by the equipment to the amount of dust in the unfiltered air is the "efficiency of filtration", generally speaking, the smaller the particles the higher the efficiency of filtration.

3. Resistance of operation: The fibers in the equipment make the airflow around, thus producing a small resistance, and the sum of the resistance of countless fibers is the resistance of the filter operation. The resistance of the equipment will increase with the increase of airflow.

4. Dynamic performance: the captured dust produces additional resistance to the airflow, so the resistance of the equipment gradually increases, while the captured dust forms a new obstacle, thus slightly improving the efficiency of filtration.

5. Service life: The more dust accumulated on the equipment filter media the greater the resistance to operation, and when the resistance increases beyond a predetermined value, the life of the equipment ends.

6. Electrostatic effect: If the filter material used is electrostatic or the dust is electrostatic, the effect of filtration will also be significantly improved.

7. The initial resistance and final resistance: a brand new filter resistance is called "initial resistance", and the corresponding filter end-of-life resistance value is called "final resistance". The choice of the final resistance is directly related to the service life of the equipment, air volume changes, and system energy consumption, in general, the choice of the final resistance is 2 - 4 times the initial resistance.

8. Recommended value of final resistance: The dirtier a device is, the faster its resistance grows. A high value of final resistance does not necessarily mean a longer service life but will make the air volume of the whole system decrease sharply. Therefore, it is not necessary to set the final resistance value too high when choosing.
