Class 100 clean bench

The 100-level laminar flow hood, also known as the 100-level clean bench or 100-level sterile operation table, is a laboratory equipment with a high cleanliness level. The following will provide a detailed introduction from aspects such as its working principle, classification, features, and application scenarios:
Working principle
Air filtration: The 100-level clean bench is equipped with a high-efficiency filter (HEPA) inside, which can filter out over 99.97% of dust particles larger than 0.3 microns, providing clean air for the operation area.
Airflow circulation: Inside the laminar flow hood, unidirectional or horizontal flow is formed to ensure that the air within the operation area always flows from the clean area to the contaminated area, thereby preventing the deposition of dust particles within the operation area.
Sealing design: By adopting a sealing design, the entry of external dust is reduced, while preventing the escape of dust generated during operation, maintaining the cleanliness of the operation area.
Classification
Classified by the direction of airflow
Vertical laminar flow clean bench: The fan is at the top, and the air blows vertically downward. It is mostly used in fields such as medical engineering to ensure people's health, but the noise is relatively large.

Horizontal laminar flow clean bench: It has relatively low noise and the air blows outward. It is mostly used in the electronics industry and has a relatively small impact on human health.

According to the operation structure, it can be divided into two forms: single-sided operation and double-sided operation. Single-sided operation is suitable for single-person operation, while double-sided operation can be operated by two people simultaneously.
By application, it can be divided into ordinary 100-level laminar flow hoods and biological (pharmaceutical) 100-level laminar flow hoods.
In terms of the number of operators, it can be divided into single-person workbenches and double-person workbenches.
Structurally, they can be classified into conventional type, new push-pull type, and self-circulation type (only for vertical flow).
Characteristics
High cleanliness: It can achieve a cleanliness level of 100 grades in the operation area, with no more than 100 dust particles per cubic meter of air, providing a highly clean environment for experiments and production.
Multiple airflow forms, such as vertical flow and horizontal flow, can be selected according to different application requirements to meet the operational demands of various industries.
Easy operation: Most are open desktop designs, and some are also equipped with sliding doors that can move up and down and be freely positioned. The operation space is spacious, making it convenient for operators to carry out various experimental operations and production activities.
Low noise: The fans usually have the characteristic of low noise, providing operators with a relatively quiet working environment and reducing noise interference during work.
Customizable: According to the different needs of customers, accessories such as differential pressure gauges, anti-static equipment, stainless steel drawers, and ultraviolet sterilization lamps can be selected and equipped. Moreover, single units can be used or multiple units can be connected in series to form a production line as required by the process.
Application scenarios
Biological laboratory: It is used for cell culture, molecular biology experiments, microbiological research, etc., to ensure that cells, reagents, etc. are not contaminated by the outside world during the experiments.
The pharmaceutical industry: It plays a significant role in the production of drugs, vaccine preparation, and the research and development of biological products, ensuring the quality and safety of drugs and biological products.
Microelectronics industry: It applies to the assembly, testing, and other processes of semiconductor devices, preventing dust particles from damaging precision electronic components and improving the yield of products.
Food industry: It can be used in food processing, packaging, and other links to ensure food safety and prevent the contamination of food by microorganisms and dust.
