The maintenance and maintenance of the box filter mainly includes daily inspection, regular cleaning, filter material replacement equipment storage, etc. The following is the specific method:
Routine inspection
Appearance check: Check whether the outer frame of the filter is deformed or damaged every day and whether the sealing rubber strip is intact. If it is damaged or sealed loosely, it will cause air leakage and affect the filtering effect. It needs to be repaired or replaced in time.
Pressure check: By observing the pressure gauge before and after the filter, understand the pressure change during the filtration process. If the pressure difference is too large, the filter material may be blocked and needs to be cleaned or replaced; If the pressure fluctuates abnormally, it may be a problem with the internal structure of the filter, and it should be checked in time.
Running status check: Check whether the filter running sound is normal and there is no abnormal vibration. If there is an anomaly, it may be a fan failure or a foreign body inside the filter, and it is necessary to stop the machine for inspection.
Regular cleaning
Surface cleaning: Regularly wipe the outer surface of the filter with a clean wet cloth to remove dust and stains and keep the appearance clean. For parts that are not easy to wipe, you can use a soft brush to clean up.
Internal cleaning: According to the use of the filter environment and frequency, regularly open the filter box to clean the interior. Use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove dust and impurities from the surface of the filter material and the internal bracket. Be careful to operate gently to avoid damaging the filter material.
Filter material replacement
Determine the time to replace: when the pressure difference of the filter reaches the set upper limit value, or when the filtration efficiency is found to be significantly reduced after testing, it is necessary to replace the filter material. In general, the replacement cycle of the medium-effect box filter is 3-6 months, and the replacement cycle of the high-efficiency box filter is 1-2 years, but the actual replacement time needs to be determined according to the specific use.
Replacement method: When replacing the filter material, first close the filter inlet and outlet valve, cut off the power supply, and then open the filter box to remove the old filter material. Be careful not to scatter dust and impurities on the filter material during the removal process. When installing the new filter material, ensure that the filter material is installed in place, the seal is good, the filter material and the internal bracket are fixed in the correct way, and then the box is closed.
Equipment storage
Dry storage: If the filter needs to be temporarily deactivated or stored for a long time, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and mold of the filter material, affecting the filtration performance.
Prevent extrusion: when storing, care should be taken to avoid the filter being squeezed or collided, so as not to cause deformation of the outer frame or damage to the filter material. The filter can be placed on a special shelf, or wrapped with soft materials such as foam to prevent it from being damaged by external forces.
