Maintenance and maintenance of horizontal and vertical flow cabinet

Maintenance and maintenance of horizontal flow table
(1) Clean appearance
Daily cleaning
At the end of each day, use a mild cleaner and a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the surface and shell of the workbench. Care should be taken to avoid cleaning agents entering vents and electrical components to prevent damage to equipment. For example, you can use a diluted dishwashing liquid solution to gently wipe the countertop to remove dust, stains, etc.
For the corners and gaps of the workbench, you can use a small cleaning brush, such as a toothbrush, to carefully clean up accumulated dust and debris.
Regular deep cleaning
Deep clean once a week or once every two weeks (depending on frequency of use). Remove all items from the countertop and thoroughly clean the countertop and back wall (where the fan and filter are located) with a professional lab cleaner.
When cleaning the rear wall, be careful to avoid collision with the fan and filter. You can use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust on the surface, and then wipe it with detergent.
(2) Fan maintenance
Check the fan running status
Check the running sound of the fan regularly (monthly). Under normal circumstances, the sound of the fan running is stable and small. If you hear abnormal noise, such as sharp friction or buzzing, it may be that the bearing of the fan is worn or the blade is stuck.
Observe the speed of the fan. Some tables have a speed display function, if not, you can roughly judge by feeling the wind speed of the outlet. If the wind speed weakens significantly, it may be a fan failure or a blockage of the ventilation pipe.
Fan cleaning
Clean the fan every three months or so. Turn off the power first and open the rear wall maintenance panel of the workbench (if there is one). Use a small vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the fan blades and motor housing.
For dust that is difficult to remove, gently brush it with a clean soft brush. Be careful not to exert too much force to avoid damaging the fan blades. After cleaning, reinstall the maintenance panel.
(3) Filter maintenance
Check filter status
Check the appearance of the filter periodically. If the filter surface is obviously black or there is a large amount of dust accumulation, it will affect the ventilation effect and air quality. In general, observing the pressure difference before and after the filter can also determine whether it needs to be replaced, when the pressure difference exceeds the range specified by the equipment, it should be considered for replacement.
Filter change
Depending on the environment and work intensity, the filter may need to be replaced every 6-12 months. Before replacing the filter, power off the workbench, locate the installation position of the filter and remove the old filter according to the instructions of the device.
When installing the new filter, ensure that the installation direction is correct and the seal is good. After the installation is complete, open the workbench and check whether the ventilation effect and air quality are normal.
Second, maintenance and maintenance of the vertical flow table
(1) Clean appearance
Daily cleaning
Since the top of the vertical flow table is quasi-closed, special attention should be paid to cleaning the gap between the edge of the table and the operating window in daily cleaning. A clean, damp cloth can be used to wipe the countertop, and for dust in the gaps, a small cleaning brush can be used to clean up.
The outer shell of the workbench is also wiped with a mild cleaning agent and a damp cloth to avoid cleaning agents entering the inside.
Regular deep cleaning
When deep cleaning, in addition to cleaning the table and shell, also focus on cleaning the top fan and filter area. Due to the high location of this area, small climbing tools may be required. First use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the top, and then wipe the shell with cleaner.
(2) Fan maintenance
Check the fan running status
Similar to the horizontal flow table, check the fan running sound and outlet wind speed regularly (monthly). The fan of the vertical flow table is at the top, and you may need to listen more carefully when checking the sound. If there is an abnormal sound, it may be that the installation screw of the fan is loose or the motor is faulty.
You can observe the airflow status in the working area to help judge whether the fan is normal. If the airflow is found to be unstable or there are obvious vortices, it may be that the fan is working abnormally.
Fan clean and tight
Clean and tighten the fan every three months or so. After turning off the power, carefully open the top maintenance panel. Clean dust from fan blades and motor housing in a manner similar to that of a horizontal flow table.
At the same time, check whether the installation screws of the fan are loose. If it is loose, use appropriate tools to tighten it to ensure that the fan is securely installed.
(3) Filter maintenance
Check filter status
The filter of the vertical flow table should also be checked regularly for appearance and front and rear pressure difference. Due to the high environmental protection requirements of the vertical flow table, the state of the filter has a greater impact on the quality of the work. If the filter is found to be damaged or seriously clogged, it should be replaced immediately.
Filter change
The filter replacement frequency may be slightly higher than the horizontal flow table, generally every 3-9 months, depending on the use of the environment. The replacement procedure is similar to the horizontal flow table, but be careful to check the tightness of the table after installing the new filter. The tightness can be checked by placing a smoke generator in the work area (in the absence of a test sample) and observing if the smoke leaks. If there is leakage, you need to readjust the filter installation or check the sealing strip.
