Structure and Principle
The outer frame is generally divided into common hard paper frames and high-strength die-cut hard cardboard frames. General cardboard outer frames can be used to manufacture non-standard specification filters, which can adapt to the production of filters of any specification, with high strength, and are not easy to deform. High-strength die-cut cardboard is used to manufacture standard-sized filters, featuring high dimensional accuracy, good appearance, and low cost.
Filter element: Usually made of pleated fiber filter material lined with single-sided metal wire mesh. By pleating the filter material and attaching a layer of galvanized iron mesh to the air outlet surface, it can not only protect the filter material from being blown through but also prevent it from deforming due to wind pressure, ensuring that the surface of the filter material can be fully utilized.
Working principle: The filter material is folded and placed inside the cardboard, increasing the windward area. When air flows in, dust particles are blocked between the folds by the filter material, while clean air flows out evenly from the other side, thus achieving air filtration.
Filter material and performance
Filter material: According to customer needs, non-woven fabric, fluffy glass fiber felt, plastic mesh, or metal wire mesh can be used, among which non-woven fabric and glass fiber are commonly used.
Filtration accuracy: It is generally used to filter dust particles larger than 5μm. However, depending on the different filtration materials, the particle size range that can be blocked varies from 0.5μm to 5μm, and the filtration efficiency also differs.
Efficiency grades: including G1, G2, G3, G4, etc., with G3 and G4 being the most commonly used.
Other performances: It features low resistance, large dust holding capacity, easy replacement, and also has the characteristics of low pressure drop, high dust capture capacity, and long service life. In addition, its outer frame is made of moisture-proof and water-resistant original pulp wood fiber cardboard, which is light in weight, easy to install, and has a smooth and beautiful appearance.
Application field
Civil buildings: It is commonly used in the ventilation and air conditioning systems of civil buildings such as office buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, airports, and schools, serving as a primary filter to remove large particles in the air, protect subsequent medium and high-efficiency filters, and extend their service life.
Industrial plants: It can be applied to the centralized ventilation and air conditioning system of industrial plants, conducting preliminary filtration of the air entering the system to remove dust particles and foreign objects, providing a relatively clean air environment for industrial production.
Other fields: It can also be used in the coarse filtration system of general air conditioners, the fresh air units and ventilation systems of central air conditioning, the pre-filtration of large air compressors, the return air filtration of clean rooms, and the pre-filtration of local high-efficiency filtration devices, etc.

Maintenance and precautions
Regular inspection: It is essential to regularly inspect the filter's operating condition and monitor any changes in its resistance. When the resistance reaches the recommended final resistance (generally ≤ 225 Pa), the filter material or filter should be replaced promptly.
Cleaning and maintenance: Before installation, the system should be air-blown clean, and the purification workshop also needs to be thoroughly cleaned. If it is installed inside the ceiling, the ceiling itself also needs to be cleaned. In addition, the filter packaging can only be removed on the spot at the installation site and during the installation time. After removal, an appearance inspection should be carried out.
Prevent damage: During transportation and storage, pay attention to protection, avoid heavy objects from squeezing, and prevent the filter from deforming or being damaged, which may affect the filtration effect.
