Performance and technical analysis of many different types of filters

I. Primary air filter

This equipment is generally used for the primary filtration of air-conditioning systems, the main function is to filter more than 5um dust particles, the type of equipment has a plate, folded, and bag type three styles can be selected, and the outer frame material has a paper frame, aluminum frame, galvanized plate frame, etc., the filter material has a non-woven fabric, nylon mesh, activated carbon filter material, metal hole mesh, etc. can be selected.

II. Medium efficiency filter

This equipment can be used in the intermediate filtration of our air conditioning system, the role is to filter dust particles above 1 - 5um, with the advantages of small resistance and large air volume.
The types of equipment bag type, frame type, and combined type, etc. can be chosen.

III. High-efficiency filter

This is a kind of equipment that uses ultra-fine glass fiber as filter material, glue board paper, aluminum berth as a divider, and wooden frame or aluminum alloy frame glued together, the equipment has the advantages of high filtration efficiency, low resistance, and large air volume, and is used in various local purification equipment and clean plant.

When using high-efficiency filters, to avoid the cleanliness of the clean room being polluted by the neighboring room or polluting the neighboring room, a proper static pressure difference needs to be maintained between clean rooms with different cleanliness, or between clean rooms and general rooms, and the static pressure difference should not be less than 5 Pa.
As the clean air supply into the clean room is different, the cleanliness of the room is also different, which needs to be calculated according to theoretical calculation and practical experience The number of common empirical air changes is as follows:

1. For a class 100,000 clean room the number of air changes is above 15 times/hour.

2. For a class 10,000 clean room, the number of air changes is above 25 times/hour.

3. For class 1000 clean rooms, the number of air changes is more than 50 times/hour.

4. For the class 100 clean room, the air supply volume is calculated according to the air supply section wind speed of 0.2 - 0.45m/s.
