The air shower pass box's internal structure is complex, how to clean it?

1. Preparation before cleaning
Tool preparation
First of all, we need to prepare some professional cleaning tools. For example, a small vacuum cleaner is essential to help us suck up most of the dust and debris inside. At the same time, prepare different sizes of soft brushes, including long-handled brushes and small brushes, long-handled brushes are used to clean deeper parts such as air ducts, and small brushes can clean nooks and crannies. In addition, it is necessary to prepare some clean, non-hair rags for wiping the surface; Neutral detergent and disinfectant alcohol for stain removal and disinfection; And plastic gloves for cleaning to ensure the hygiene of the cleaning process.
Safety protection
Before cleaning, be sure to ensure that the air shower pass box has been powered off, and the moving parts such as the fan have stopped running, to avoid accidental electric shock or mechanical injury during the cleaning process. At the same time, all the items in the transfer window should be emptied to prevent the items from being damaged or contaminated during the cleaning process.
Second, cleaning steps
(1) Preliminary vacuuming
Integral vacuuming
Open the door of the air shower pass box and use a small vacuum cleaner to fully vacuum the inside. Starting from the top, clean the side walls, the bottom, and the area around the air shower. Pay special attention to corners and edges, where dust can easily accumulate. The suction head of the vacuum cleaner should be as close to the surface as possible to ensure that it can pick up all loose dust and small particles.
Vacuum key parts
For key parts such as the entrance and exit of the air duct inside the air shower pass box and around the fan blades, the small caliber suction head of the vacuum cleaner should be used for careful vacuuming. If the air duct has a removable filter screen, remove the filter screen first and then vacuum the inside of the air duct to remove the dust and debris hidden in the air duct as far as possible.
(2) Wipe clean
Neutral detergent wipe
Wipe the interior surface with a cloth dampened with a neutral cleaner. For larger flat areas, such as the inner wall and bottom of the pass box, the rag can be folded to the right size and then wiped with the right amount of force to remove stains and residual dust from the surface. During the wiping process, pay attention to the amount of cleaning agent to avoid too much cleaning agent remaining on the surface.
For the air shower nozzle, gently scrub with a small brush dipped in detergent to ensure that the nozzle holes are not blocked. When cleaning, be careful that the bristles of the brush do not damage the nozzle.
Alcohol wipe
After wiping with a neutral cleaner, wipe and disinfect the inside with a cloth dampened with disinfectant alcohol. This step is particularly important for air shower pass boxes used in the pharmaceutical, food, and other industries. Focus on wiping the tray in contact with the material, the inner wall of the air shower area, and other parts to ensure that the bacteria and microorganisms that may exist are killed.
(3) Clean seams and corners
Soft brush clean
For the air shower transfer window with a complex internal structure, gaps, and corners are difficult to clean. Using a small, soft-bristled brush, dip in a small amount of detergent and carefully scrub the crevices and corners. For example, at the edge of the door, the connection between the air duct and the box, etc., the brush is deep in the gap and gently brushed to loosen the dirt hidden in it.
Compressed air cleaning (optional)
If conditions permit, use a compressed air tank to clean gaps and corners. Aim the nozzle of the compressed air tank at the gap and spray out compressed air to blow out dust and small particles. But be careful to control the air pressure to avoid blowing dust into other areas that have been cleaned.
(4) Air shower system cleaning
Fan cleaning
The fan is one of the core components of the air shower pass box. If there is dust and dirt on the fan blades, it will affect the performance and service life of the fan. Use a long-handled brush to gently brush the dust on the fan blade, and then wipe the blade surface with a clean rag. If there is dust in the motor part of the fan, it should be carefully sucked with a small vacuum cleaner to avoid dust entering the motor.
Duct Cleaning
For the cleaning of the air duct, you can extend the long-handled brush into the inside of the air duct, brush back and forth along the direction of the air duct, and brush off the dust attached to the wall of the air duct. Then use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the brush. If the air duct is long or has a curved part, you can consider using a specialized air duct cleaning tool, such as a cleaning brush with a curved brush head.
(5) Inspection and finishing work after cleaning
Check the cleaning effect
After cleaning, carefully check whether there is any residual dust, stains, or cleaners inside the air shower transfer window. You can use a flashlight to illuminate the interior, look at it from different angles, and make sure that every corner has been cleaned.
Drying treatment
Wipe the inside with a clean dry rag to make sure no water stains remain. If there are detachable parts, such as filters, after cleaning, ensure that they are completely dry before installing them back to avoid breeding bacteria or affecting equipment performance.
Return to use
After confirming that it is clean and dry, close the door of the pass box, reconnect the power supply, and check whether the equipment can operate normally, including the operation of the fan, the function of the air shower, and the indicator light.
