The process of making high efficiency filters

The production process of high-efficiency air filters needs to be very careful because whether the production process of filters is fine determines the purification effect of high-efficiency air filters, so generally, there are special requirements for the production process of high-efficiency air filters.


The outer frame and the filter element make up the high-efficiency filter. The production of the outer frame, the initial inspection of the filter paper, the re-inspection, the folding of the paper, the insertion of the paper, the sealing of the glue, and the forming process are the necessary steps for the processing and assembly of the high-efficiency air filter, and the following is a specific description of the production of the high-efficiency filter.


1. Outer frame production

Different customers need different materials for the outer frame of the high-efficiency filter, so the cost is also different. There are two types of common frames: galvanized sheet (stainless steel sheet) frames and aluminum alloy frames.

 
Frame production: according to the customer's requirements to do a good job of the frame bending and bending angle, and finally to remove the excess processing burrs, seal the seams to do sealing treatment and then seal the glue.


Frame cleaning: after the frame is made, the oil stains on the frame are removed, and afterward the frame is wiped again to remove the dust and dirt on the frame.


2. Initial inspection of incoming material

Before unpacking the filter paper, check whether the packaging is damaged, check whether the filter paper is damaged after unpacking, and check the quality of the product inspection and verification, especially for the ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper, the inspection is more careful.


3. Light inspection

In air filters, the light inspection process is different for filters with partitions and filters without partitions. High-efficiency filters with dividers are inspected during the paper insertion process, while filters without dividers should be inspected before they are fed into the paper folding machine to see if they pass.


4. Paper folding and gluing

After sealing, wait for the sealant to cure, shovel away the cured and overflowing sealant, wipe the outer frame of the filter with anhydrous alcohol, clean the filter, reshape it, and then paste the black rubber seal on the windward side of the outer frame of the filter.


5. Send for inspection

After the production process of the high-efficiency filter is completed, a sampling inspection can be carried out. The inspection of high-efficiency filters includes efficiency, resistance, geometry, end face flatness, side plate flatness, side plate unevenness, etc. There are 14 evaluation contents. Leak detection is the key to ensuring the quality of the HEPA filter.
