1.What Are Chemical Filters?
Chemical filters use activated carbon or other adsorbent materials that work by attracting pollutants through a process known as adsorption . These types of filters can effectively remove odors/chemicals/gases/smoke from indoor spaces besides removing particulate matter depending upon their design.

2.What Are Glass Fiber Filters?
Glass fiber (or fiberglass) filters use layers of fine mesh fibers made up primarily from glass which trap airborne particles while allowing clean filtered air to pass through . They are commonly used for capturing large volumes of small-sized particulates like dust/pollen/mold spores etc.

3.Differences Between Chemical And Glass Fiber Filters
One key difference between the two filter types is that chemical filters can capture gases/odors/volatile organic compounds (VOCs) whereas glass fiber ones cannot due to absence activated carbon layer /adsorbent material inside them .

Another difference is related towards filtration efficiency where in case both filter designs have similar MERV rating , chemical counterparts will typically be more efficient at removing smaller sized particles than their glass fibre counterparts 

4.Benefits And Limitations Of Each Filter Type
Chemical filters are best suited for environments with specific VOC sources like nail salons/printing presses/exhibit halls etc where removal specific chemicals present within environment is required besides reducing unpleasant odours .
However they may require frequent replacement due to saturation capacity limitations & higher costs compared to equivalent classed mechanical pleated media based alternatives.
