What is a laminar flow pass box?
Laminar flow pass box is auxiliary equipment for clean rooms. It is mainly used in biological clean areas for the delivery of items. It is used in biopharmaceuticals, scientific research units, disease control centers, large hospitals, university research, and other places. It has the following characteristics:
Structural design: double-layer shell inside and outside, with arc treatment around the inside to ensure a seamless connection. Made of stainless steel plate, smooth and clean. The visual window is made of tempered glass with a thickness of ≥8mm. The frame and fillet are both 304 stainless steel with a thickness of ≥1.2mm. The surface finish is not less than RA1.2 after polishing.
Laminar flow design: The airflow direction adopts the up-and-down mode, and the bottom adopts a punching design of 304 stainless steel cold-rolled plate, and reinforcement ribs are set.
Filter system: G4 is used for the primary filter and H14 is used for the high-efficiency filter. The high-efficiency filter frame is made of aluminum alloy, and the air outlet surface equalizing plate is made of 304 stainless steel mesh plate. The plate thickness is ≥1.0mm and no burrs are allowed.
Control function: fan start/stop button, equipped with built-in electronic door interlock. Set up the UV lamp, and design a separate switch, when the two doors are closed, the UV lamp should be in the on state; set up lighting, and design a separate switch. The high-efficiency filter can be removed and installed separately from the upper box, which is convenient for maintenance and replacement of the filter. An inspection port is set at the bottom of the pass box for fan maintenance.
Performance indicators: After passing through the high-efficiency filter, the outlet wind speed is controlled at 0.38-0.57m/s (tested 150mm below the high-efficiency outlet flow plate); display filter pressure difference (range high efficiency 0-500Pa/medium efficiency 0-250Pa), accuracy ±5Pa; the noise of the pass box is <65db when it is operating normally.
The installation method of the laminar flow pass box is relatively simple. Choose a convenient location on the wall and then drill a hole. The hole is generally about 10MM larger than the outer diameter of the pass box. Put the pass box into the wall, generally install it in the middle of the wall, keep it balanced and fixed, use rounded corners or other decorative strips to decorate the gap between the pass box and the wall, and then apply glue to seal it.
