What to look for when choosing filtration equipment
Step 1: Master the replacement cycle of various types of air filters, under what circumstances should be replaced according to the specific use of each device and conditions1. Fresh air filters: also known as pre-filters or primary filters; intermediate filters can also be called intermediate air filters, both of which can be replaced when the final resistance is two times the value of the initial resistance.
2. End air filters: also known as high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency air filters, the replacement cycle should be extended appropriately, depending on the actual situation.
Step 2: Notes on removing the air filter
1. Before dismantling, the equipment and floor of the clean room should be wrapped and covered with plastic film to prevent the dust accumulating in the air ducts and static pressure boxes from falling during the dismantling process and causing pollution to the equipment and floor.
2. After dismantling the air filter, the installation frame, supply, and return air ducts should be thoroughly cleaned.
3. When dismantling, it is recommended to follow the order of primary, medium, sub-high, high, and ultra-high efficiency air filters to effectively reduce the amount of dust entering the clean room.
4. Generally, the replacement cycle of the whole system is relatively long, so all the equipment in the system can be thoroughly cleaned at the same time as the air filters are replaced.
Step 3: Clean the fine dust particles
When the air filter is removed from the whole system, we can start the fan in the system to clean the air supply ducts, installation frames, etc. in time to remove the fine dust particles adhering to the surface.
Step 4: Performance check after replacement
After the replacement of all the filters in the system, the system fan should be started in time to put all the equipment into operation and to carry out a comprehensive performance test of the equipment, which can only be put into use after passing the test.
Step 5: Afterwards, to ensure that the pollution particles in the clean area are controlled within the required number of clean levels, various levels of air filter equipment are generally used in the purified air conditioning system to intercept the dust particles entering the clean room airflow.
