Working principle of paper frame electrostatic filter

The paper frame electrostatic filter uses a high voltage electrostatic field to charge the particles and then is captured by the dust collecting board, to achieve the purpose of purifying the air. Its working process is usually divided into the following stages:
Through high voltage direct current, the voltage of the electrode system exceeds the critical voltage value, resulting in the corona discharge phenomenon, and electrons are emitted to the gas layer near the surface of the corona pole.
When the dust particles in the air pass through the ionization region, under the action of circulating ions between the main plate and the ground pole, the dust particles gain charge. The larger the particle size, the more electricity they carry.
Charged particles enter the collection section, and in a uniform electric field, positively charged dust particles are repelled by the positive plate and are quickly attracted to the negative dust collection plate of the electrostatic filter, thus being captured.
When the gas containing dust particles passes through the high-voltage electric field formed between the cathode line connected with the high-voltage DC power supply and the grounded anode plate, the oil fume particles will collide and capture gas ions in a very short time, resulting in a charge, and move towards the positive dust collecting plate under the action of the electric field force, so as to achieve the separation effect.
In short, the paper frame electrostatic filter charges the particles through a high voltage electrostatic field and is captured by the dust collecting board, achieving efficient air purification.
